I finished my MBA at the university of Utah in 1972. We have spent the past 44 years in Nothern California primarily living in the city of Pleasanton. During that time I first worked for a San Francisco accounting firm, John F Forbes, where I specialized in Napa Winery audits , San Francisco newspapers and manufactures and financial services, That was followed by a number of years at Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical, but my last change was in 1978 when I joined a small accounting firm with 15 employees in Ordina, Ca. What first appeared to be a terrible career moved has evolved into one of the largest accounting and investment advisory services in Northern California.Along the way we were blessed with 5 terrific kids who given us 17 wonderful grandchildren. We have been very involved in the community and church. Between 2000-03 I presided over the Peru Lima Mission. I have not yet retired because I'm way over paid, love my clients, have a flexible schedule and have a great team.
I was in the Key Club and learned a lot about service. But most of my closest friends were in my ward and the Holladay Stake. The Holladay 11th Ward had a wonderful coach Paul Hersher and pretty good team by our senior year with Doug Boone, Randy Wigren, Dave Brown, ...we were good enough to win 2nd place in the stake, but we always got beat by Holladay 24th in regionals before we could qualify for all church.
Since my high school athletic career ended at the sophmore basketball tryouts on the first or second cut, I was forced to find part-time after school employment at the Salt Lake Trubune as a stuffer. I frequently carpooled with Alan Bridge and Dave Brown. That is where I discovered I really liked piece work where you get paid for what you do instead of how long you work. I think that job formed the basis for my entrprenuership. I made a lot of friends from high schools all over the Salt Lake valley, I dated some of their friends and sisters and really widened my horizons.

We Randy,
It is nice to know you are doing well and retired in
It has been too many years since I've seen of heard from you.
But I sure remember shoveling snow from the basketball court behind my garage with you, and then Playing under the lights until our fingers were raw from the salt we spread to melt the ice.
We never played for Olympus, but we sure enjoyed battling for a place in the regional playoffs. Last time I saw Paul Herrscher he asked about you and he shared all the news he had been able to gather about all of the guys from the Holladay 11th ward. He never forgot us.
Hi Mike,
I sure hope you attend the reunion, olympus is a lot closer to Salt Lake than Pleasanton is.
We meet I third grade and some of my fondest childhood memories were with you.
Building airplane model in your basement, baseball, our version of the soapbox derby on willow road slope in the snow. Merit badges and scout camps and "passes "to the ParkVu drive in....
Once again do your best to be In town even if you have to cut one of your trips short.
Brent
