Barry lived across the street from me. We were good friends. We both had a horse and a dog. He played trombone, I played clarinet. We went to the cabin and he rode on the back of my Cushman scooter. We snow sledded down the street in front of our houses and went skiing in the winter. His mother Lillian was always good to me. She drove Barry and me to school on wintry days. He was a friendly and gentle person. Unfortunately, he was a much better friend to me than I was to him, which I have regretted. Peace my friend.
